Yeah your body is not going to have enough energy to even exercise. If you do exercise your going to probably be really hungry afterwards because of the low amount of calorie intake. You need at least 1800 calories to even function properly throughout the day. Your metabolism starts slowing down too....and of course that is not good....I know somewhat because my first week I had only been eating 800 calories and then after I started eating like more calories (1900) my stomach would start to feel more hungry frequently. I also had more energy to exercise....You could maybe try to eat small meals throughout the day like maybe 5-6 each about 300 calories a meal and that might help you out....

Anyway good luck!

When you only eat 100 calories a day, your body is in starvation mode. It will preserve your fat reserves which you want to lose and it will burn your muscles for the energy that you body needs to function. You are likely not hungry because your body has slowed its metabolism in order to conserve energy.

Exercising is healthy but it can put your body in further starvation mode if you are not eating enough. Here are some things you can do to help you get on the right track for healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle -

1) Review the Teen Guides linked on your start page.
2) Review the Getting STarted Guide linked on your start page and then set up some realistic goals that you can follow. Here are some ideas: eat 3-5 servings of fruits/veggies every day, drink 8 cups of water every day, exercise at least 20 minutes every day, have 3 servings of low fat dairy every day, eat a protein and carbohydrate source at every meal and snack. Pick the goals that are best for you based on where you need to improve. The Teen Guides will help you know where to start.
3) Use the food tracker to help make sure you are getting over 2000 calories every day so that you have what you need for your body and exercise. Also make sure you are meeting your key nutrient needs for things like protein, calcium, iron and calories. The Teen Nutrition Guide has links to helpful information that provides you with ideas about what to eat.
4) Talk with your mom and get her on board with selecting nutrient dense foods when you go to the grocery next. Nutrient dense foods provide a lot of nutrients with the calories and would be things like meat, or milk instead of soda or candy.

Ok so I want to exercise and loose fat on my legs and stomach but I don't eat enough calories...I just don't get hungry enough to eat 2000 colors I know I'm supposed to but I don't...so far I've ate over 710 calories today my mom made cupcakes though and I ate one the frosting was 110 but I don't know what the batter has in it she threw the box away... I've eat a lean hot pocket for breakfast a mini pizza for lunch and a cupcake as a snack. But there is no real healthy food in the house...hardly anything to eat cause we haven't went sopping for grocherys in like 3 weeks and I don't know what to have for supper that's healthy? I just don't know if it's healthy to exercise but only eat around make 800-1500 colors a day most of the time I'd say I eat about 1000...I haven't exercised much but I want to start again but my eating is kinda unhealthy. Is it bad to exercise and only eat that manny calories?
