I'd recommend looking for one or two DVDs that cover cardio (something like kickboxing, aerobics, dancing, etc.) and strength training (using body weight or dumbbells, for example). I'd say that really, the most "effective" DVD is one that you enjoy and will actually do! You can check out several at your local library for free to try them out. Also check out our video section under the Healthy Lifestyle Tab, which has free online videos-- cardio and strength.
