yes, and the best thing to do is stretch out those areas. after any workout, any part u think you used or know you used should be stretched. it will help with the over all soreness you feel and to me at least feels really good after a workout. I learnt after being in track and running and running and running and then adding the stairs and lifting weights...that stretching helps alt so i could go out and do it all over again the next day. sometimes it wont get rid of all the soreness but u will feel a difference.
