If possible, I'd try to eat a snack an hour or so before your practice. Here's an article that will give you ideas of things you could pack to take to school:
hey skater girl, that was basically my same problem but a grat fix i found was bringing granola bars they give u a ton of energy and keep u full and make sure to drink a ton of water!!

I'm a student athlete at my high school, but my lunch is at 9:45-10:30 in the morning, and i'm always hungry before my practices, which last until at least 5. (there's no way to change my lunch period). what kinds of things should i eat in between lunch and practice to stay full and energized? when should i eat them?
