GLINDA-

Make sure that you're following the Nutrition program here on SparkTeens--you probably need to eat a little more to fuel your body and to prompt weight loss. Eating too little can actually hurt your weight loss efforts, so make sure you're tracking your food to get the minimum amount of calories each day (somewhere around 1,800 in most cases).

With the exercise, it sounds like you're at a great start. 15-20 minutes is a good start for beginners. As you get more fit, you can try to do more. But don't beat yourself up for that--you have to start somewhere, right? If you dread the bike, then find something that you actually enjoy. Walking, dancing, swimming, playing a sport, etc--hopefully you can find something that you look forward to so that it becomes a habit.

Good luck reaching your goals,

Coach Nicole
