i do that sumtimes, like i went to a party and they all kept calling me anorexic again and i was like freakin out so i ate like everything to show them i wasnt and the next morning i woke up and ran on the treadmill for like 2 hrs, did a cardio tape didnt eat but like 300 calories. i need to fix it...

Maybe. It does make me feel better to exercise if I've gone over my calorie limits or eaten something I regretted. Just make sure it doesn't turn into an obsession.

i did that last year when i gained 10 pounds on a cruise. i stoped eating and was on the exc. bike all day. but then i just stoped and my stomache is so fat. and im woried about waht ill look like at the 8th grade trip to a water park this summer. =/

When I was obsessive about exercise and restricting this is exactly what I'd do. And then it turned into whenever I was feeling bad about life in general. The first time I saw my therapist, the second I came home I hopped on the treadmill until I burned 500 calories. My parents eventually had to set limits it was getting so bad, but as long as you're not obsessed with doing something like this, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hey,

that can be a good thing to get into the habit of doing... just don't overdo the exercising.

But yeah, I'm getting an elliptical this week, possibly today, and I already kind of do that.

It seems like a good thing to do, because that way if you feel like having more than you should once in a while, don't totally deprive yourself.

Just hop on the elliptical for a few minutes, that way you'll feel kinda, better at the end of the day, right?

I wish! My mom wont buy anything like that. She says if I'm going to walk/run then I should go outside and do it! Then I'm out in the sun. And to some point I see where she's coming from, but I'm from Winnipeg, and half the year is freezing lol. Then what? Anyways ya. I think it's good you do that.

when I feel stressed or feel like I ate a ton I run on my elliptical. Does any one else need to exercise when they feel like this?
