To target those difficult love handles, the best thing you can do is work at them. I understand you're exercising extra hard, and I applaud you for that! but there are a couple more things you can add to your daily regimen to melt those problem areas away.
The best way to loose fat is to gain muscle, muscle will slowly but surely eat away at excess fat. You can gain muscles in these areas by trying these;

L,
Not necessarily. Your metabolism is faster than an adult b/c you're young. So you burn more calories just by your activities throughout the day than I do b/c I'm older than you are.
Your best bet is to lose weight slowly, which is what this higher calorie range will help with. You do want to include exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle, but you don't have to go overboard with it to reach your goals.
Hope that helps,

thank you very much for your advice. but i also have one more question. how can you lose weight with eating so many calories. i mean i have never heard of someone losing weight with eating 1800-2000 calories a day. that would mean they would ahve to workout extra hard right?

L,
There's no way to target weight loss to specific areas of the body. Your body decides for itself where it wants to put on weight and take it off. As long as you're exercising regularly and eating healthy (making sure to eat enough), you're on the right track.
I am concerned about your weight loss goal. It sounds like you're already at a healthy weight for your size, and losing 10-15 lbs could put you into the unhealthy range. You are also not eating enough. The minimum any female your age should be eating is 1800 calories per day, so I'd recommend sticking with the calorie and nutrient ranges your program provides. Eating too little is unhealthy and also makes weight loss harder instead of easier.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions!

How can u get rid of them or just minimize them. i am 5 ft. 2ish or 3 and i am 15 and about 107-110 lbs. and i hate my love handles. i use to be extremely skinny. like 89 lbs. and was anorexic for a while. but i realized how skinny i really was and started eating like all the time and now i am realllyyyyyy regret it. like i think about it all the time and wish i could just turn back time. but i need to stop thinking about that and just focus on how i can lose some of the weight i put back on. bc i had lost an extreme amount of weight i use to be around 150 and i really dont want my hard work to go to waste so i am doing something abt it. i really want to lose 10-15 lbs. by april 1st which is my 16th birthday and i want to loook nice and toned. but what i hate now are my love handles.ugh. i currently work out almost everyday and play soccer for an hour on fridays and then sundays we have games for abt 40-45 minutes(and i run alot bc i am mid field) so my legs an pretty toned so i am not too worried abt those but i really just want to lose overall weight. i also do abt 100-300 jumping jacks a day 80ish leg lifts with 1.5 ankle weights. 120 crunches and this one lower ab exercise that i do abt 80 of. but i feel like i am eating too much. like some days i will eat 1400 which is prolley about how much i should eat. and then other days i eat like over 2000 calories and i feel soo bad. i just really want to get out of this funk and really lose the weight i want. does anybody have any further advice. and also is there anyone out there who needs a motivational buddy bc i sure could use one. thanx in advance!
