Dashboard,

If you really don't like running, I'd find other kinds of exercises that you do enjoy instead. One kind of exercise isn't better than another in terms of weight loss- you just have to make sure you're working at a level that's challenging for you. So you could either stay with the bike and mix up your routine- doing some workouts where you increase the resistance or do speed intervals, for example- or you could try something totally different. It's important to find activities you enjoy, so I'd consider something like swimming, exercise videos or the elliptical to add variety.

Also make sure you're changing your strength training routine regularly too.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

heyy. i've been exercising monday-friday& sunday.. saturdays my break. anyway, i normally do the bike for atleast an hour, pilates, squats, lifting weights and crunches but i think my body is getting use to the same exercising pattern so its becoming more difficult to loose weight. i want to start running because i know that running is the best cardio/way for you to loose weight but its impossible for me. it tires me out and i think its boring. i know they say to be more comfortable with running you have to build up but every time i try i just get frustrated at how im so in shape that i cant run. is there any advise anyone can give about how they became a better runner or a cardio exercises thats just as good for you as running.
