Hi Elizabeth- It depends--are you doing the same muscle groups on all of those 6 days? If so, then that is way too much. But if you're alternating muscle groups (like arms on Monday, legs on Tuesday, abs on Wednesday, etc.) then it is probably okay.

I have a question on how often a person should do strength training exercises every week. At this point, I'm completing strength training workouts six days every week. Is that too much? I've heard that it's best to give yourself a day in between strength workouts for your muscles to rebuild.... Is that true?
