Marissa-
I find it hard to believe that someone of your stature and weight has "huge" thighs. In fact, it sounds like you're at a pretty healthy weight as it is--so losing weight might not be very healthy (or even possible) for your body.

Everyone responds differently to exercise, and there is no way to predict how long it might take you to notice changes in your body. But the exercise program you describe below sounds like a good one that will keep you fit and probably help you tone up too.

So if i run like 2-3 miles about 3 times a week, eat fairly well(could do better) and do strength training 3 times a week how often shouldi expect results.

THe problem: see i'm 5'4 1/2 and i weight 117. I'm pretty happy with my weight considering its healthy but i HATE my thighs because they have so much muscle and fat together they are huge! how can i slim them down//?
