Marissa- I find it hard to believe that someone of your stature and weight has "huge" thighs. In fact, it sounds like you're at a pretty healthy weight as it is--so losing weight might not be very healthy (or even possible) for your body.
Everyone responds differently to exercise, and there is no way to predict how long it might take you to notice changes in your body. But the exercise program you describe below sounds like a good one that will keep you fit and probably help you tone up too.
