working out during your period is good do it while on your second or third day never your first because your craps are usurally the worst on the 1st day. remember to drink ALOT of water and eat healthy. if you do cramp up while working out take a break or even a nap. if it is cold out it is good to bundle up and go for a walk. :], tehya

| Idk if belly dancing helps, because when I DON'T have my monthly, I still get them from belly dancing.

| belly dance...it help cramps by massaging those ab muscles..and working them at the same time

It is a good idea. Exercising and stretching will actually help ease the cramps. Doing yoga would be a good choice if you don't want to do a hard cardio workout.
