H,

The problem with counting this as your cardio is that after about 6 weeks of doing the same thing all the time, your body gets used to it. So if you've been doing your job for a long time, that walking is just a normal part of your day to your body. Additional exercise is what's going to shake things up and help you lose weight.

That being said, when SP calculates your calorie range, it assumes you'll be doing some activity throughout the day- like walking to your car, carrying groceries, etc. You are doing more than the average amount of activity, so I would consider bumping up your calorie range by 200 or so to account for this. Then you can add your workouts and know that you're eating enough for your activity level, while still gaining fitness through exercise.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have more questions!

say you work at mcdonalds 5 hours on one particular day. those who know what that job is like, the entire time you walking and moving really fast, sometimes running, and occassionally lifting heavy boxes.

does that count for something towards exercise minutes?
by the end of a work day, which for me is 7 hours, im too tired to do anything else.
