KRISTY- I'd kind of hard to decipher all the info in this post, but do refer to our Teen's Guide to Fitness & Exercise for setting up a good exercise program:
There, we recommend 3-5 days of cardio (20-60 minutes each), 1-3 days of full-body strength training, and stretching for flexibility after each of your workouts. If your plan lines up with these recommendations, then great! If not, then see where you can make some changes.
Hope that helps,
Coach Nicole

I was wondering if my current workout plan is providing me with the most benefits possible, I'm trying to tone my abs and thighs, my other areas have already been toned. I eat about 2000 calories during the weekdays and anywhere from 1,500-1,800 usually on the weekends.
Mondays: I either workout at home, or go to the Swann (local gym); usually I do the latter in a time of 45 minutes... plus the 5-10 minutes it takes me to walk to the gym from where the bus lets me off.
Tuesdays: Dance after school, time spand of 1 hour.
Wensday: Can vary from workout at home, Swann, or horseback riding. This week is the latter... I go horseback riding for a period of 1 hour.
Thursday: Play rehersal after school, duration of an hour. When I don't have rehersal I'll most likely be going horseback riding on this day and doing home workouts on wensday.
Friday: Skiing or snowboarding for about 2 hours (this is the time spent actually skiing, aprox. 2 hours will be spent inside trying to get warm!)
Saturday: Play rehersal and/or a casting call audition. Rehersal lasts usually 4 hours. Sometimes I will go to the gym before for 45 minutes or do a 15 minute ab workout.
Sunday: Acting class, duration 2 hours. Probably only actually act for 30 minutes to an hour. Usually I add a 'Butt Blasting Workout' to the day.
* On the days that I have gym at school I don't do any other exercise unless it is in stone, such as dance on tuesday or my acting on thursdays. * I have dance during lunch on either thursday or friday, either way I still do the other things planned, acting & skiing/snowboarding. * My home workouts are either 30 minutes of Pilates or 30 minutes of a ab workout on a machine called 'Ab Lounge Extreme'.
