DDR dance dance revolution it is fun and you get a great workout with it!!! i either play by myself. but mostly i play with a friend or family member it is really fun!! Or another one is to do house chores and listen to music . if you do it long enough it gets your heart rate up!!!

hi, running in the cold can be painful at first from the breathing, but after your warmed up it goes away. also, you burn more calories from running in cold weather because your body works harder to warm the air coming into your lungs! bundle up. i wear leggings that i also use for snowboarding but they double as insulating pants for running. go for something that insulates but also breaths and wicks away sweat and moisture from your body to keep you warm and dry. wear light gloves, a long sleeve breathable shirt under a light windbreaker with pockets so that you can take your gloves off if you get too hot. you should wear a warm headband around your ears, as they tend to get very cold. running in the cold is discouraging but once you get going it's not much different.. also, bring a few tissues with you to blow your nose every so often, mine tends to run from running in the cold

Hey there. For exercise in the winter well I still run outside in the cold i have winter running gear and in the dark i get my brother to come with me. Um jumping rope is actually great for you, or you could see with your school , im not sure how old you are or where youre from but most of the high schools around me have weight rooms with weight mchines dumbbells and a few cardio machines and its usually open for student access whenever. If not maybe a gym like the YMCA or see if the gym at your school is being used and so some line sprints, push ups and sit ups there. Hope that helps!

posted this on another topic, but what I would do is either:

1.) walk/jog/run up and down a set of stairs
2.) do excersie dvds! :)
[if you have a dvr or tevo you can record exercise programs if you have fitTV or lifetime sometimes has "my workouts" that comes on early in the morning]
3.) run in place, jump rope
4.) dance!

hope that helps.
