Hey everyone.
Thanks for all of your comments.
I got the membership and love it!!!
I went to the gym for an hour today and I want to go back!
The sunday crowd has every type of person/weight situation so it is not intimidating at all!

i agree gym memberships can be expensive, but i have one and it really helps.. it makes me want to exercise more even if i dont want to because if i dont go.. i think of it as losing money.. its also really good because gyms have a wide variety of equipment so you wont get bored, and there are always trainers there to help you too.

Hi Jaguar-

Gyms can be pretty expensive.

My recommendation would be--if you want to use your $100 on fitness/exercise--to buy some workout things that you can use yourself. After those 3 months are up, you'll be stuck with no money and no workout options. But if you "invest" that money in some small equipment--a set of dumbbells, a stability ball, some resistance bands, and maybe a couple secondhand (check out amazon.com or ebay for good deals) workout DVDs, then you'll have endless options that will last you a really long time.

Just a thought! Either way, it's a great thing to invest in your health and fitness!

Hi everyone..hope you are all seeing results!!
What I need some help with is deciding whether or not to get a gym membership.
There is a 24 hour fitness club close to my house. I am old enough to work out alone. Also, I do a sort of homeschooling so my schedule is flexible.
I was thinking about getting the 7 day pass and going there a few days and see what I think.

I have a bit of money saved and you can get a 90 day pass for $100. I would really like to buy some new clothes, but I sort of feel that working out and getting a better body will be more rewarding than a couple of outfits.

Right now, my only exercise is walking around 3 miles at least 4 times a week. I like it, but it gets boring sometimes. Also, the weather sometimes conflicts with this.

So give me your opinion everyone!
