ok thanks :) It was actually my mom who told me I should do any exercising before going to bed, when she once saw me doing them. It's good to know that it's not WronG cause I don't have much time earlier in the day.

| Thanks for the tips! I think we might even have some old fitness DVDs in the basement somewhere...I'm gonna go check that out.

SAINT- I recommend getting a few exercise DVDs--look for cardio ones since you're already doing other strength training. The possibilities are endless, and they're designed to be done at home, so you don't need to have a ton of space (and many can be done without any equipment too). You can get them for free from your local library, or buy them used on eBay or amazon.com to find a really good deal.
www.CollageVideo.com is a great resource. They have nearly every video imaginable, and previews of them, so you can look there before you buy.
Hope that helps,
Nicole

I need some ideas for cardio that I can do indoors. I'd normally bike or walk, but we just moved so I'm not familiar with the area yet, plus it's getting pretty cold right now. We don't have any fancy excercise equipment or anything. I want something that's not too focused on strength training because I already do Pilates and Yoga. Does anyone have any good ideas?

CHILLIN is right. It really just depends on the individual. Some people can exercise before bed and have no problems falling asleep.

Well, it kind of depends who you are. It's not bad for you or anything to exercise before you sleep. But exercising before bed makes me a little tired and easier to fall asleep. Maybe you should just test it out for a few days, and figure out what you should do.

But i thought that it's not a very good idea to do cardio exercisesbefore going to bed. cause it makes it gharder for you to get asleep. is that true?

I think it's a great idea--every little bit helps, and 10 minutes is definitely worth it if you don't have time for more.
Good luck,

I have some more ideas. I am going to stretch every morning after I wake up for 5-10 minutes. Then before I go to bed, I will do a 10 minute cardio exercise and 5 minute stretch. That way, if I didn't really get to work out during the day, I still will have done a work out. Plus it'll help me wake up in the mornings and sleep good at night. Tell me if that's a good idea. You guys can use it too. I hope it helps!
