Anna-
1400 calories is less than what SparkTeens recommends for healthy living and healthy weight loss. You must do your best to eat within the calorie recommendations that we've given to you. When you go below them, you'll not only have trouble meeting your body's needs for nutrients (vitamins, etc.), but you'll also have a harder time losing weight.

Please read "A Teen's Guide to Weight and Body Confidence" to learn more. You'll find it on your Start page. Also make sure you're not exercising too much. I believe I answered one of your questions on that topic before...?

Good luck,

Coach Nicole

I usually eat about 1400 calories a day. And I do 30 min basketball or soccer, 20 min soccer or basketball, 30 min soccer, and another 30 min doing whatever I want. I can't seem to lose weight what is the problem. If I don't exercise one day then I gain about 2 pounds know matter what.
