Sarah- We have several articles full of ideas like that. I recommend that you check out the Fitness Resource Center for more ideas. One article there would be "Small Bits of Fitness Add Up" or also try "Give Your Workout a Spark Start."

Thanks! do you have any suggestions on quick exercises i can do everyday. I already tried to park my car practically as far away from school as possible so i can get extra steps in everyday.
but what would be some other things that i could do daily?

I'd recommend finding ways to add small bits of fitness into your day. A workout doesn't have to take place in one long chunk of time--several 10-minute workouts throughout the day, for example, are just as effective and might fit into your schedule better.
Also start small. ANY amount of exercise--even 5 minutes--is better than NO exercise at all. If all you can spare is a few minutes each day, still take advantage of that time.
You could also try to put exercise on your calendar just like any other appointment/meeting/practice. Remember all the benefits that it offers you--it'll help you not just lose weight, but feel better, become more confident, and even do better in school. So try to make it a priority!

| I am extremly involved in my high school and i am having a hard time fitting in exercise into my daily routine. I usually get home around 5:30 every night. I have lost 11 pounds and seem to be staying aroudn there, i know that i need to continue to exercise to keep losing weight. What would you suggest?
