i personally haven't lost a lot of weight from walking, but my mom lost about 30 pounds just from going for an hour long walk every night.
go for it! :)

no i havn't but if your not comfortable exercising w/ others then dvd's are deff. the way to go! you could also try Pilates or yoga dvd's too. Spark videos are also great!

| I haven't tried a dvd but I love having a treadmill so that I don't have to be around other people. If you're uncomfortable with working out around others then don't! :)

Does anyone use in home walking dvds? I'm kind of self conscious about working out in front of others and I thought these dvds might be a good idea since I'm just starting out?
Also have any of you lost a significant amount of weight by just walking?
