try drinking a lot of water. It helps for me alot. I know that by now. : )
but, I know where you are coming from. I'd say do something light. But do alot of it. You know like walking 3.0 miles per hour but for like 2 hours. So you burn the same amount of calories.

I'm like that all the time with my period, which sucks considering my BC pill is supposed to help with cramping.
Try yoga or swimming instead during your monthly flow.

Just don't do anything that would shake up your stomach.
For example: elliptical, running, jogging, jumping jacks, crunches, or sit ups.
it may be better to just take a break and eat healthy till it passes.

Yeah, the part that really sucks is that I took pain pills before I went to the gym. T_______T
I dunno, I guess it is something I just have to deal with.

| I would say to pop a couple of midol and tough it out. I've heard that the more you exercise.. the less cramps you have and your periods are shorter too! You might try a treadmill or like some kinda workout video! Best of luck to ya, girl!

In a typical menstrual cycle, I start to get cramps a week before I actually start menstruation. In the days of that week, the cramps will only last for a few seconds, and they are fairly mild. Today was the first time that I actually tried to get in a workout during that week, and the entire time I was exercising, my cramps were continuous and moderately severe which forced me to stop.
Is this normal for anyone else? And is there any way that I could get in some cardio during the week that isn't very strenuous but still burns plenty of calories?
