Anything that raises your heart rate and uses your major muscle groups can be considered cardio. Running, walking, swimming, biking, etc.- all of those would be cardio exercise.

What can I do that's considered cardio? I've heard walking is cardio but it just doesn't seem to have the same effect as running? I'm confused
