Honestly, I couldn't tell you. A quick call to the doctor is a good idea though--and maybe you can find a physical therapist closer to your home.

Thanks, I'll do that. Do you think it's safe though for now for me to just do brisk walks, and stretches? My doctor is about 1 1/2 hours away, so we don't make the trip unless absolutely nessesary. Maybe I could just call the office. Thanks for the tip though!

When you have a history of injuries like this, you need to talk to your doctor to find out what's safe (or not) for you based on your health history. If your doc can't answer your questions with enough detail, ask for a referral to a Physical Therapist who can help you develop an exercise/stretching program to overcome your weaknesses and past injuries.

Alright, so I would love to start exercising more, but I have a couple problems, I have very weak ankles, any kind of stress makes them sore for weeks, I've sprained them both several times over the years, and they never really recovered. And the same problem with my right wrist, it's been sprained several times, and never really got back up to full strength. And my right elbow, and I think that's it. But I would like to know what kind of exercises I can do to build up strength in them again, so I can start doing some hard-core excersising again, and get back in shape. Any tips?
