I'll do an intense bike workout and after, I feel great!
Also if I wait about 10 minutes, I can do the same intense workout again without feeling sore or tired.
For me, the hardest workout is the first one or first 15 minutes of one, then, nothing I do tires me out or feels sore to my muscles. I just WANT to keep going as fast as possible or hard as I can!

I only get it if I am real tired out after the workout which is rare for me.

Hmmm... I can't say I have an after workout "high," but I do feel extremely happy after I complete a workout! I also feel kind of unstoppable. Weird? Maybe lol.

yea after-workout highs are great! i am on my schools track team and get them after we do an iron woman or iron man workout in which you get a list of about 10-15 things to do in 30-40 minutes...the list consist of 8 steep hills, 100 crunches, 80 sit ups, 60 push ups,150 meters of lunges, 150 meters of high knees, 150 meters of but kicks, 150 meters of running backwards, 20 bleachers, & 20 fire hydrants. its fun because your trying to race the clock and finish everything on time. once your done you feel really good about your self it makes you wanna go conquer the world! p.s. this is a very advanced work out and should only be attempted if you have been working out for a while and need a reallllly hard work out

I pretty much always get it, but then I always push myself as far as I think I can. It's so funny, I can go into the gym feeling really down and come out jumping up and down and grinning like an idiot, it's quite scary actually...

When I finish a workout I feel wonderful. It makes all the pain I just experienced worth it!

I personally haven't felt a workout "high" yet (though for the rest of the day i feel really happy). My uncle gets them all the time though, he does uphill bike marathons for the fun of it. I think the endorphin high gets "worse" (for lack of better word) the fitter you get.

I only get that if I already have a lot of energy before the workout & when I finish I feel "high" :)
But otherwise I just feel relieved to be done.

Yeah, seems to come from endurance work-outs or cardio. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endorphin#Runner.27s_high

no, not everyone gets those "highs" different exercises affect different people differently. like after a long run, i feel phenomenal, and in a super mood, and..i don't really know how to explain it..but after like weight lifting and such, i just feel worn out.

LOL work out high, heehee nice. Hmmm I've never felt like that before, maybe a little better personally about myself, and some more concentration comes to me, but I've never felt the extreme endorphin rush. Just the extreme fatigue rush.
xD

I've read that lots of people get this high right after their workouts (I understand it's because of endorphins?), but I can't recall ever feeling like that after I worked out. When I finish, I'm just proud that I got it out of the way, but I definitely don't feel "invincible", as some people put it. Does not everyone get them or am I doing something wrong here? lol.
