| heyy i just read this it really helped i do that somtimes and i hate it. i no wasnt in this conversation but thnxx i will definatly try to think before i stuff my face and if it wasnt for softball and not being homne after school i would do it like every day! thnx again!

| thanks guys!! i was so proud of myself yesterday and i opened the cabinet and i was so close to eating junk food but then i looked at it and i thought im olny hurting myself and by eating this all my exercise goes to waste all my hard work goes down the drain.. so i put the food back and walked away! this was one of the hardest obstacles for me and weight loss and i conquered it!! thanks for the help guys!!

| Oh, okay. FEATHERA's right. What matters more than what others think about your eating habits is what you feel personally you should be doing. What if you're parents or whomever went on vacation for a week and left the house to you, you would binge eat for 7 days straight, because no one's watching. However, YOU are always with you. You could never be unsupervised by yourself. That's why your own conscience should be your motivation, your reason why you eat healthy, not what your family might think. It's about learning the facts and fitting them comfortably into your lifestyle. THINK before you DO. How do you feel before and after you binge eat? Analyze that and you'll make a change. Think about how far you've gone and like FEATHERA said, what a waste it would be to backtrack after all of your mental and physical progress =]

| hey thanks for the good advice! i was just trying to prove my parents but now i have realized the importants of being healthy so maybe that will make all the difference :)

If you've already made it a month, then just keep reminding yourself how far you've come. I used to have that problem, too. I used to binge maybe twice a week and I whenever my dad went somewhere, even for 15 minutes, I would run downstairs, stuff my face, and then he would come home and I'd run back upstairs. It wasn't because I was embarrassed to eat like that in front of him (although I never would), but just because I liked having the privacy to binge by myself. So, I see where you're coming from.
The main thing that kept me going (and now I'm as closed to "cured" as I'll ever be), was first time. The longer you go, the more leverage you gain in stopping yourself. If you've not binged for a month, well, why make that month worth nothing??? The second and most important thing I said to myself was this: "I am so intent on eating this, but it's really not the food I want. If I binge, I won't remember what I eat-- I won't look back and be glad that I binged-- I'll just remember that I failed."

| i eat when some times when no one is watching its like if they think im eating good that's all that matters. ive kicked that habbit for a a month but im afraid it mite come back. i need a helping hand here...
