you're body weight can fluctuate up to 5 lbs during the day but your fat level will stay generally the same.

It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound, so there's no way that you gained a pound. You can't weigh right after you eat and take that number at face value. You can drink 2 cups of water and gain a "pound" of weight, because 16 oz = 1 pound. But, you and I both know that water has 0 calories, so you didn't gain any real weight.
Now, onto the more important part-- is that all you had to eat today? 800 calories? That's not ok. You need to be eating at least 1,800 calories a day in order to get all the necessary nutrients and calories to survive. We are growing teenagers and 800 calories cannot sustain you. If you eat any less than 1,800 calories, your body will think you're starving and it will go into starvation mode for self-preservation. When your body thinks you're starving, it will burn as few calories as possible to maintain your weight. Think about it-- if this were a famine, that'd be really useful, but your body doesn't know that you're not eating enough calories on purpose.

Hey guys, I want to lose ten pounds by May 1st (prom). I am not overweight, I just have those little problem areas. I have a problem though, today I have only eaten 800 calories and I gained weight! How does that even happen?! I did some exercise today too! Also, does anyone know a way to make your skin firmer?!? Please help!!!!!! Thanks. Post your problem's on here!!
