| Well last Saturday was my best friends' 16 B-day and a few of her closest friends went to a local buffet. Well I took advantage of the situation and brought back a whole plate full of various fruits!! I also had 2 small dinner rolls, and a salad. My friends may have laughed at me but thats skay!

something i really should do but haven't yet is to bring along a granola bar and a bottle of water when i go to the mall with my friends..or i'll buy my lunch from a salad bar in the food court which is amazing....
but if im going out to a restaurant with my parents i try to figure out the lowest calorie meal before i go.

Grilled chicken sandwiches or salads are the way to go, usually.
If you really want some "normal food" go for a kids meal. When you get home, you can eat some fruit.
Also, always substiture your fries with fruit, when possible. Try to get water to drink too.

| i have the same problem my friends are all super skinny and have their license and i dont get mine till a month and they always ask me to go out to eat with them and i dont want to say no so i have to. idk what to do either!! i try to bring water like browniegurl but sumtimes its like after school and i dont have a chance!

| I bought this little book by Calorie King. It's small enough to fit in my purse and it lists calories, fats, carbs, etc for a whole bunch of foods including a list of foods from hundreds of chain restaurants. I use it all the time! I just pull it out and look, or if it's a little embarrassing, I'll excuse myself and go to the bathroom to look through it. They probably sell it at your local bookstore in the health/diet/fitness section.

| I'm in that situation almost everyday, my best friend shes like naturally skinny and hse doesn't gain any weight whatever she eats so always we go to the mall she goes and buys a pizza or chocolate bar or something and when she offers i say no too so for it to be not akward i usually bring water or something healthy with me so that im not watching her eat. you could also maybe go buy something healthier so your eating with ur family but ur still not cheating or making yourself feel guilty for eating it

it's kinda happened to me like when my mom and dad went to dairy queen to get a ice cream they asked me if i wanted one i said "no" and just had to watch them eat it if you no any other ways just let me know please
