Yes I at only ate like 700 calories today. Not because I was trying to starve myself or anything it was just because I didn't feel hungry. The whole week I was eating fine and getting the right amount of calories....it was just today I guess.

So, what would be some ideas of things I should eat for breakfast and lunch considering that I get hungry so often , something to keep me full till the next meal?

Your constant hunger is your body's way of telling you that it needs more energy to keep up with the demands you are putting on your body. Teen athletes and weight lifters can need 3000 plus calories so continue to feed your hunger with healthy selections especially protein sources.

Your developing isn't done until you are about 21 years old. Your energy and nutrient needs will never be higher then they are right now because this is your highest period of growth and development. While you may not see increased growth in inches, your bones are still growing in thickness, your muscle fibers are still growing and many other internal things are growing and finishing the development toward their adult size/shape/function.

What if most of your growing and developing is done?

800 calories is no where near enough for a growing/developing teen or optimal health. You are not hungry because your body is in starvation mode and has slowed its metabolism to conserve energy.

You want to eat several hundred calories every few hours and while an occasional "sweet treat" is ok from time to time, you want your energy calories to come from nutritious choices when possible.

So, starting selecting whole grain breads, lean meats like turkey or ham, Nutragrain bars, yogurt, a glass of 1% or skim milk, fresh fruits and veggies, low fat cheeses, nuts, raisins etc as your meal and snack. Eat about 300 calories every 4 hours or so and after a few days of consistently doing this your metabolism will begin to increase and so will your appetite.
