You need to eat in a range of calories and your Spark Plan will tell you the energy range that is best for you and already takes into account the amount of exercise you intend to include based on the information you provided when you set up your program.

From your home page click on MY NUTRITION and then scroll to the bottom. There you will see the recommended nutrient intake specifically for you for many key nutritients. Use the food tracker every few days to help you monitor how you are doing, where you are falling short so you can make changes. If you are short by a couple hundred calories then have a glass of milk and a couple cookies and enjoy the treat or have a Peanut Butter and fruit spread (instead of jelly) sandwhich. Your body needs the nutrients to grow, develop and be healthy. You can be at a healthy weight AND eat 2000 calories with an active lifestyle and healthy food and snack selections.

If you eat less than you're supposed to you body thinks to itself "Oh no! Fammine! Plauge! Mammoth shortage! Must. Not. Starve!" And startes to slow its metabolism, conserving calories. And i'm not joking on that. It's not uncommon for people in an eating disorder support group i belong to to say how they weighed *** and ate 200 calories a day, but weighed ***-10 when they ate 900 or 1,000.

As for the other question, i really dont have a clue. I'd like to know myself.

I know you're suppose to eat 1800 calories a day. But what happens if you eat like 1500cals?

Also, do you have to eat 1800 cals with exercise so like you could eat 2000 cals a day then take 200cals of cause of exercising?
