| some of the things i do to avoid over-eating are- Keep yourself busy- if you feel like grabbing a snack do somthing like take a walk, i also drink hot and cold tea, if you don't like the taste you can just put in alittle splenda. Doing these things have helped me stop over eating and lose 47 pounds

| I do the same thing. During the day I eat healthy but while we're watching TV at night I tend to eat a lot more chocolate or chips than I intended. I know I shouldn't eat in fron of the TV, but when the food's right on the table...it's hard to resist. I'm going to try eating only a little bit then going to brush my teeth after...that way I won't be craving more. Maybe that could work for you too.

| Try eating with chopsticks! Odds are that until you get good with them, you'll slow way down and give your brain time to realize it's full. Also, dont eat in front of the tv. If you must have some form of entertainment whilst eating, try reading a book! That way you have to take a break from actual eating to turn pages, ect.

| Many expert nutritionists recommend you drink a glass of water before each meal. Because most of the time when you think that you are hungry you are actually thirsty. Also high protien foods (e.g. eggs) are good for snacks and have a low gycemic index.

| I don't know... I have the same problem. Sometimes I'll eat a whole lot in one sitting when I eat 'junk food' or I'll eat quite a bit over a period of like a week, then I feel extremely guilty and get really depressed.

For the most part, I stay on track and eat healthy foods. But when I eat something I shouldn't, I overdo it big-time. It's like I can't stop until I'm stuffed! I don't mind it when I eat a bit of something I shouldn't but that doesn't happen...does anyone have any tips?
