It totally depends, because popcorn is WAY healthier than chips, but . . . fruit is healthier than popcorn. You know? My mom tells me it is better to eat popcorn that chips, because it so much healthier, but it all depends on the kind you buy. Movie popcorn: NOT good Store-bought popcorn: Pretty Good Self-Popped: Pretty darned good!

| You can buy an air-popper, which I have, so when you pop it, it's unsalted and unbuttered, and you can add as much as you want. But I try to stay away from that stuff but I end up doing only butter but only very little.

| it depends on the kind. movie popcorn is not healthy at all and has hundreds of calories along with a lot of unhealthy fat. there are also many unhealthy varieties of pre-popped and microwave popcorn. however, several brands now make 100-calorie popcorn bags. these have a lot of popcorn in them and come in kettle corn or butter flavors. make sure you read the nutritional information, but if you can find these, they are quite filling and relatively healthy.

I eat popcorn and many people tell me it is healthy, but is oily, salted popcorn actually healthy?
