Sandwiches are good, but they're kind of boring if you just eat them plain. I like to experiment with toppings on my sandwiches to make them more interesting (scrambled egg, ketchup, romaine lettuce, tomato, and cayenne pepper? Sure!), but when I get really tired of them, I have to try something else.
Right now, I'm on a bento craze. Bento are Japanese boxed lunches that traditionally have rice, lean protein, and some kind of vegetable. Today, I'm going to make a Peanut Butter and banana "maki" with a whole-wheat tortilla. If you have any rice, you can make onigiri (rice balls) to take to school.
...Or you could just take leftovers from dinner, or snack foods, or, you know, stuff like that.

for my lunch at school i just pack a bunch of snacks! like il usually bring an apple, strawberries,a protein bar, or granola bar, or something of that nature.

Ok...So school starts the 18th. And...I wanted to start packing my lunch cause I'm pretty sure it would be better for me than the schools. But...I don't know any good things to take. I'd need protein to help my stay full throughout the day. (My lunch is at 10:30) But I don't want to have a ham or turkey sandwich everyday. I tried looking on here but I couldn't find any recipes that would be good to take to school. Also...I didn't have enough pacience to look. So...If anyone could help me and give me some recipes...I would greatly appricate that.
