You could try to keep yourself occupied and then you might not think about those cravings. Sometimes a gum is good cause you chew on something and it's not filled with lots of calories.
I used to snack alot but I try to do something with my hands,especially when watching tv. Now I knit or do something and it keeps me from getting food when I'm not even hungry. I used to snack on cookies,my snack these days are fruits,mostly apples.
