The number may not change depending on your goals but it will be accurate and you should aim to eat in that range daily and keep your exercise at that level as well or readjust again.

Yep, if you are consistently doing different exercise then you entered in your program, you need to adjust your fitness plan so that your calorie adjust as needed.
Your calories in (food) is balanced in the program with your calories out (exercise) so if you raise the out or lower the in you change the balance and your body and metabolism are triggered to respond by holding on to energy.

omg long story:
i was entering the cardio i entered today and i got this message: *You've gone over your weekly calories burned goal by a significant amount. This will not change your calories eaten goal automatically. If you'd like, you can change your fitness settings here.
lately i've been doing a half hour of tae bo every day and it says that i'm burning 450 calories each time. i don't know if i actually am burning that many calories, though, cause it seems like ALOT. so i have not adjusted the amount of calories i eat or anything...
so, my question is, by doing this am i going to put my body in starvation mode and slow down my metabolism, dooming myself to a lifetime of painstaking swimsuit decisions?
my eternal gratitude sarah
