That's a pretty good blood pressure reading, actually. And anything can cause it to spike for a single reading. Most people will have a higher than normal reading when they get it taken at the doctor, simply because of nerves. We have a lot of articles about blood pressure on the site that will explain more if you're interested, just search.

You can eat whatever you want, but stick to the calorie and nutrient goals on your Food Tracker. There's also a great article on your Start page called "A Teen's Guide to Healthy Eating" which will help explain a lot of these concepts that you're asking about.

I have noiticed that i can not stay motivated and if i dont see resuslts rite away i freak out and quit because i dont see a difference. And then i see all these skinny people pig out on a bad of chips and im like omg i hate you all because i want it so bad. But im not even sure what to eat. Can i still eat my normal daily foods and just watch my portions?.. i went for a physical the other day and my doctor is just teling me that im 34.7 punds over weight and that my blood pressure (112/80) is borderlining and i need to watch what i eat. Let alone i run a half a mile every day and i swim every day or play soccer with my cuzin. i dont understand how my blood pressure is that bad and i dont eat the junk my little sister does and shes got a perfect blood pressure. i dotn get it. also all i do is gain musscle and hardly any of the fat goes away!
