| That's about 4 weeks, and 10 lbs is not too unrealistic. But you have to consider the muscle weight factors, and that weight loss is not strictly numbers, since we are not computers and everyone is different. Definitely have at least 1800 calories daily, exercise cardio 3-4 times a week for 30-60 minutes, and strength train 2-3 times a week to build muscle and help burn body fat. 10 lbs of fat is 35,000 calories, and you would have to burn 8750 calories per week to lose that much; pretty unrealistic. Just focus on being consistent.

| You won't necessarily gain muscle and lose fat just because you are working out; nutrition plays a major role in the weight loss game. Like Coach said, don't focus of what the scale says. And if I'm not mistaken, I think the turbo jam food guide is for adults, and it probably wouldn't prescribe the Sparkteens-recommended 1800 calorie limit. Check that out.

| While you r doing TJ you will gain the wieght from the muscle you gain and lose the fat and since muscle weighs more than fat it is hard to tell if you will lose a large amount.

Your muscles tend to retain water for a short period of time whenever you start a new exercise program. So I wouldn't worry about the weight gain, and I'd stick with the calorie and nutrient guidelines your program here has provided for you.
Hope that helps,
Coach Jen
