Obsession is part of disordered eating and part of what has to be dealt with if you are to heal and move on. Perhaps you want to do a little online research about calorie obsession to see what steps you might need to take to help you move forward to overcome these issues so you can become healthier in your dealings with food.

| Same. I know the calories in everything.

I've always been like that.
I track down my nutrition, portion size, etc. in a food diary at home.
Doesn't help I count calories up in my head automatically... It's second nature to me.

Okay, so I started the Nutrition Tracker a while back, and things are going great. My only problem is that now I'm completely preoccupied with food and eating and calories and nutrition. It's helped me; now I take daily multivitamins to get my B vitamins, but I don't know what I'm going to do if my computer suddenly breaks down. I think I'll explode, honestly.
So, you know how you say things like, "Oh, I'll start exercising tomorrow" or "I'll do my homework in an hour"? I'm deciding, once and for all, that I will pledge to myself to go at least one day a week where I don't track calories or nutrition at all. I think this will help me make healthier choices without SparkTeens, and it's going to be a step toward a healthier me in the future.
Anyone else having/had this problem? I've always had an obsessive nature, so I'm having problems letting go. I keep saying to myself, "It's too early, it's too early," but I know that really, it's just my paranoia that I won't be able to do it on my own.
