A teen actually needs a minimum of 1800 calories each day - anything less than that will slow your metabolism and not allow your body to receive the proper nutrients for growth and development. So please make sure you are eating at least 1800 each day, 1600 is not enough.

Today I ate the minimum of my calorie diet i've outlined for myself, with a lovely 1,600 calories today.
AND I had plenty of water, fruits, veggies and protein..
Balanced and well yeah... I'm happy
Thought I'd tell the sparkteen world
