If you don't have a big block of time where you can set aside for exercising, try doing several sessions of 10 minutes throughout the day - it all adds up. Ex: 10 minutes in the morning before school, 10 minutes when you get home from school and another 10 minutes in the evening/night while taking a homework break.

I would recommend that you take some time to check out the Resource Center for some ideas along the way along with posting on the message boards here. Those can help you stay motivated and get other ideas from other teens that are going through similar things.

"This time I will actually loose the weight" this is the phrase that goes through my head every time i set a goal. Once I get a goal set, I am so ready to loose the weight and I stay strong for maybe a few days. Then, because of some series of events, I quit. maybe not totally but I stop counting my calories and I don't excersize for a while. I am a fairly busy person so I don't have a lot of time for excersize but i haven't found a happy medium between a small workout with a small calorie burn and a really long workout with a maximum calorie burn. I could really use modivation so if anyone has some helpful tips...I'm here! Thank you so much :-)
