I'm not sure what you mean by a lot of grains or a lot of sodium. You should be aiming for 6-11 servings of carbohydrates/grains. As for sodium, if you have too much, it can cause you to be bloated (retain fluid) and can cause high blood pressure, heart, liver or kidney diseases.
