That's true - I stayed over at my aunt's for four weeks; maybe the weight gain was gradual, but I didn't truly notice it until the last week I was there. Now that I'm looking at a picture taken on the second week, I did gain a little weight. The first week, you can see my normal bone structure in my face. Maybe I was too lax. I don't usually weigh myself, but I do take measurements. As long as I keep my waist in the range of 22-24 inches, I'm happy. I gained two inches to my waist when I was there the beginning of the second week and then another two inches the third week. When my mom took me back, she was shocked at how different I looked. She said I should look at the scale to get a picture of where I was at, and it was practically 130 pounds. The next day, however, the swelling went down and I was 127 pounds. After doing strength exercises from SparkTeens, my waist is back at 24 inches! I'm down to 123, though. So I'm still technically overweight. I can't wait until I'm in the normal range.

EDIT: Sorry for jumping the gun there. I have to remember that these things sneak up on you.

It sounds like you have something going on that you may want to check with your doctor about. It would be very difficult to truly gain 20 pounds in a week. Are you sure that is accurate? I would recommend that you see your doctor about this as it should not happen. If you have been eating things you are allergic to, then you could be having some other stuff happening too. Hopefully you can see your doctor!

I basically turned my winter break into a devil-may-care binging holiday. I didn't so much as overstuff myself, but indulged in foods that were allegedly bad for me because of my allergies. My mother said I was allergic to pork and have bad swelling reactions to corn and gluten products. People think she's paranoid and gave me the food anyways, and I kept craving them! There was a cat around, which I'm also allergic to, so I attributed my reactions to them. My aunt's place turned out to be a cesspool of allergens.

I'm 4'11", so I can't really afford to gain weight. It shows drastically even if I gain two pounds. I was 110 pounds - a little cushion, but for the most part admirable in my eyes. I've went into the area of 115 pounds during the summer when I have the same habits, except I didn't ever eat pork. By running on the treadmill, I went down to 107 pounds, which was my FAVORITE weight.

Now, I ballooned from 110 pounds to 130 pounds in a WEEK. Can it be due to the environment and the bad food? Is this normal? I also got very sick. Despite this, I still have the energy to exercise my heart out. That makes me feel good - if I'm not moving, I'm just VERY uncomfortable. I feel like I'm packing in a lot in a small container. I'm hardly recognizable - my face is puffy and fish-like. My body is overly rounded.

I need help. I'm not shooting for the stars, I just want my identity back. I never realized how much I value my natural figure until this chaos ensued.
