One of the best ways to cut down on binging urges is to keep your blood sugar from spiking and falling. The best way to do that is to eat every 4-5 hours and make sure that each time you eat you are eating a balance of healthy carbohydrates like fruits, veggies and whole grains as well as proteins like lean meats, nuts, low fat dairy products. This allows the blood sugars to stay fairly even and limits the peaks and troughs that lead to the "munchies" and binging.

yes, i have seen a eating disorder specialist, however, i have only been to 2 'introduction' appointments in the past 2 months due to her busy schedule... overall, however, and am having trouble with my cravings over the weekends... which leads to my binge eating episodes.

I am 16 years old, and i have decided to loose about 22 pounds, which would bring me to my dream weight of about 118pounds.I been strugglig with a B.E.D (binge eating problem) for about a year now, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to stop, and most of all, how to start reaching toward my dream weight.
