You definitely need to eat at least 1800 calories each day. Your body needs those calories to get the proper nutrition and fuel to help it continue to grow and develop. Also, when you eat less than that, you slow your metabolism down a great deal which works against your efforts for losing weight and being healthy.

i cant seem to reach the minimum goal that is set for my body type, well calories, I'm supposed to eat 1800 calories a day and i just cant get up there, i have a strange diet, im a vegetarian, well more of a starch/ carb monster. ha ha. idk if its a good or bad thing that i cant reach that calorie goal. help?
