Set yourself some smaller goals to start out with. You don't need to do everything right away all at the same time. It takes time to change our habits.

I would suggest taking a look in the motivation section of the Resource Center for more ideas. There are some articles about goal setting techniques in there that may be helpful for you. Also, join a sparkteam that interests you. Having others with similar interests that are going through similar things can be very helpful and motivating as you go along.

For a long time I've been trying to loose weight and have had no results. I think the problem is that I've tried to do it on my own.When I told my mom she didn't really support me so I was wondering what kinds of things I could do to keep myself motivated. I know it's going to be kind of hard because I have to loose 42 pounds and that's why it's very important for me to find a good motivation.
