I think the best tip when it comes to losing weight is to want it. The more you want it the easier it will be. Also, start out slow. By the end of the year you will be running miles at time without losing your breathe, and eating tofu like a pro. :D best of luck!

Welcome to SparkTeens! Try to think more positively about your body, I know that can be hard at times, but it is better to focus on the good things rather than the bad things. You may want to take a look at A Teen's Guide to Weight and Body Confidence.
Make sure to use the site to help you meet your goals. Try to focus more on gaining healthy habits rather than the number on the scale. Take measurements, notice how you feel, notice your fitness improvements and how your clothes fit. Remember, the scale doesn't always show our efforts, so try to not put so much into that number that shows on the scale.
There is plenty of support here on the site. Also, you may want to take a look at the Resource Center for some tips/ideas for many things to help you reach your goals.

Hello :]
I am new to this site, and I'm just getting used to it. I currently weigh 85kg and 167cm tall. Yeah, so basically, I'm fat. :P
I'm trying to lose 25kg within a year. Is that possible? I've tried many times, but have never suceeded. I lose motivation easily. Which sucks. :S
So yeah. Just wanted to share. :) Hopefully this site will keep me motivated.
