Hello,
My name is Carissa and I just joined, but I can give you some encouragement. If everytime you watch tv you feel depressed, then stop watching tv or don't watch it as often. I am not watching tv right now. I haven't for about a week and I actually lost the desire. Now, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but it might help you. I actually find myself more active and more joyful. That is a start to losing weight. Have you had any progress since you have started? If you think about it, you probably have in some way or another. Like having more energy, or finding yourself just about to eat something and then put it down. Stuff like that. Hopefully I helped you. please tell me if I did.

Welcome to SparkTeens! Try focusing more on being healthy rather than skinny. Your friends that are eating all that food may be skinny, but they are not healthy. Most people are self conscious about the way they look, you are not the only one.

I want to be skinny! Like the whole Lauren from the Hills thing... The more I watch t.v the more I become depressed and feel bad about myself. I just want to be the person who eats and eats and doesnt gain one pound. My friends eat boxes of pizza, chocolate, cakes (yeah the ones I make!!) and never gain anything! Why cant I be like that??? Do I have to be the one self conscience of my body, worrying of how many calories Im eating? I just want to be S-K-I-N-N-Y!!!!
