Hi, I am 13 years old, I am 135lbs. Iam going to Hawaii over spring break, I am hopping to wear a HOT bikinni so I need to lose 15lbs. I am confindent I can do it!
I have stoped drinking pop(easy)
No Candy(till Hawaii)
5 small meals a day.
20 min work-out daily
skiing(i live in MN)
and no ridiculaous diet things.

good way to get some exorsize when your girlfriend's over and you just want to hang out and girl chatter. Pick a place like a mile away and just walk and talk, soon it will seem like the walk was too short and you want to keep talkig. Either choose another spot, or go right back. Done this many times with a friend..not for exorcise but still :P it was walking home from school. I'd practicly walk her home just to keep talking XD ..we don't get to hang out much.

170 is my weight right now, but I'm 5'8. I'm trying to get down to 150. I think if you just exercise and continue to watch what you eat, Lauren, you'll get there. =] It sounds like you're on the right track. If I could, I would set up my equipment infront of a TV but it's really not possible. Let us know how that goes for you? =]

wow...all of your goals are inspiring...i am borrowing/ using some of them for myself because they sound soo great!
i'm beth. seventeen. 5'9.5" and currently 129.8 lbs.

my goals:
-overall be down to 105 lbs. (i know it doesn't sound healthy, but i have that weird body type that looks better being thin...tall, long legs and arms...my frieds say that i have a model figure...so stick thin will be what i am aiming for)
-eating more veggies and fruits...i don't eat that much veg's....
-drink more water...i bought some bottled water, which is the only kind of water we can have in my high school classes.. so i can take that with me everywhere.
-become more environmentally-friendly...and more of a humanitarian...might purchase a FEED bag. and my fahion show this year is donating money to educate children around the world.
-exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday
-watch less t.v.
-cut out all soda. i only drink diet coke..and not that often so that won't be too difficult
-don't eat junk food for meals.....
-read the labels, and eat more organic and earthy foods..not so many chemicals.

I want to lose weight...eventually, but first, im starting with not eating all those bad chemicals that are put into food...This means im going to have to read labels. blah! But it'll be worth.

My goal is to lose around 20~25 lbs till the end of this year

and to fit in to the skirt i bought from a Korean store...its like really cute but when i got it, it just too small for me....so i hang it in front of my wardrove to remind me ^^

Hi all! I'm Laura I'm hoping to lose 50lbs by September 2008, just in time for 6th form :) It's going to be really hard to lose weight as all my family are overweight and won't do anything about it. My mum never cooks healthy meals :( I'm hoping to convince her to cook healtier by helping with meals. Here are my goals:
1. EAT MORE FRUIT AND VEG! (My mum does't cook much veg though)
2. Exercise for 30-40 minutes a day then build up to 1 hour
3. Increase my fitness
4. Increase my self-confidence
5. Hope that it will help me sleep better :0

Hi everybody! My name is Lauren. I am 5'10 & I weigh 229lbs. I started really watching my calories about 2mths ago & lost 21 lbs(I was at 250lbs). It started falling off without me having to exercise or watch as carefully what I eat, so I kinda stopped caring about what I eat & I am still stuck at 229lbs & I want to weigh 170 by this time next year. My goals include:

Being more positive
Watching my calorie intake
Eating more veggies in a healthy way(steamed,raw)
Exercising for 30-45min a day

I am like you guys, I don't really have anyone to walk with, but I am going to set up our treadmill in front of the tv :)

My Goal is to lose about 20 pounds. Right now I am about 130 lbs and 5'5". my goal weight is 108. I really want to be a model which is my main goal. I hope I reach this weight by christmas. I hope this will give me some self confidence if i lose the wieght.

I know how you feel. There's nobody around here my age who will STICK with exercising ;[ and I don't see my best friend often so we don't worry about exercise.

My goals:
- loose 25-30 pounds
- have more self esteem and confidence in myself
- To not feel so out of place sometimes
- to be happy with my body and myself

It's really hard for me sometimes to get up and exercise because I don't really have any walking buddies or someone to exercise with. Yes, I do have my parents, but I'd like to be able to have someone my age to talk to while I exercise. My best friend doesn't come over much, and when she does, we don't really feel like exercising, we feel like having girl talk, and chilling out. So it's kind of hard for me to get ready and go.

I'm pretty quiet and unmotivated on my bad days too, but I force myself to get up, exercise, and shower. Usually I get into it after some time on the treadmill. I need to work on a positive attitude, as well.

my goals right now are
-lose 25-30 pounds. (at least 10-15 by end of october)
-find time to be more active (i go to an arts school.. so its all really hectic)
-be more positive (thats a REALLY big one for me.)

im usually one of those people who doesnt say much when im having a bad day. i really need motivation.

I'm aiming for the following:

-Lose 70 lbs by my graduation (May 2009)
-Become more active
-Get outside and exercise more
-Drink more water
-Eat more fruits/vegetables
-Less junk food!

Little things, but I'm sure that it'll add up.

I think smaller goals as opposed to bigger goals work better, you get stronger and healthier in the process before you tackle something huge =D

Some goals:
- Lose another 20lbs
- Drink more water (I drink a lot but it's not enough)
- Cut out soda (not hard)
- No seconds of anything
- Eat more varied vegetables

Let's see...some of my goals are:

3. Learn to enjoy exercise or find fun things to do that involve a lots of moving
4. Drink more water 'cause I'm really bad about that

yeah. My sister's 21 and a dancer. I'm more into acting myself, but I'm hoping to do some dance stuff with her and take dance classes next summer or mabye during the school year.

My goals...
I play tennis (first dubs) but i wanna play singles on our team. Unfortunately, i'm not very healthy and i don't run much. I would really need to be able to run more to play singles.

Also, I want to try and drink more water every day. That would be a cool goal to reach!

I don't have very many goals.
- Stop drinking pop (that's basically all I want to drink)
- Stop eating in front of the TV (on the couch watching TV is where we spend every day, night, and dinner)
- Drink more water (I drink barley any)
- Get outside more (I'm always online)

Everytime I see my sister, I look at her and think, why can't I look like that? I really want to wear the size clothes she wears and to feel more comfortable when I go somewhere.

Welcome to SparkTeens! You have some wonderful goals and I agree with you about the sun and air. I hope you will take advantage of the tracking tools to help you gain Spark points while you achieve your goals each day. You might also want to start a Spark Team for other gymnasts/acrobats like yourself to get some support and ideas for how to meet that goal.

I am one of those people who will be able to handle many smaller goals and like one or two bigger goals. Dunno if anyone else is like that..heh

8 glasses of water
5 fruits and veggies
regular exorcise
plenty of fresh air

yes..i added the last one. To me..exorcise isn't quite as good if you don't get some nice fresh air and hopefully some warm sun too :)

myt bigger goals for the moment is to be able to maybe fit into this dress that is like..one size too small but more importantly then that...to be able to do a backflip on that ground and land perfectly XD been wanting to do that for a few years now..
