| You should be eating AT LEAST 1800 calories regardless if you are exercising or not. Your body is still growing and needs more nutrients which it can only get from food. The only way to get enough nutrients is to eat at least 1800 daily. If you are strenuously exercising or exercising for longer periods, then you should definitely eat more. Otherwise, if you don't eat enough, your body will feel like it is starving because you are not getting enough fuel for your body to function properly.
