Yes, that's the thing, you can't compare cups (volume) to grams (weight). I mean, a cup of alfalfa sprouts is going to weigh far less than a cup of ravioli.
I'm finding I really need a set of measuring cups and spoons as well as a digital scale which can weigh in ounces and grams in order to accurately follow recipes and measure servings.

| Thanks very much! I get baffled by cups, especially since a cup seems to be a different weight depending on what food you're measuring!!!

Anyone? I'm having 4-cheese ravioli for dinner. The pack has no nutritional info on it, but I know it's 200g. The only listing I can find in the database for 4-cheese ravioli only gives the serving size as 1.3 cups. I'm afraid that means absolutely nothing to me, being in the UK. Anyone know how may cups 200g of ravioli would be?! Thanks
