| I use a pork roast. They are super lean and like the other posters said, whatever you cook in the Crockpot will come out tender if you cook it long enough.

| On meat the more marbling the more fat so find a piece that doesn't have lots of marbling. Almost any cut will come out tender in a slow cooker.

| I dont know about the calories but the cheapest cut of beef (most likely has less fat) will come out tender in the crock pot.

| We always cook our venison roasts in the crock pot. I come from a family of hunters so have easy access to it. I enjoy almost anything from the slow cooker. Pork tenderloin, any kind of beef roast, chicken breasts bone in with chili sauce. Mmmmmmm

Hello
Anything slow cooked will come out tender, even the tough cuts.

| I don't know about calorie wise, but chuck is the only kind I make in the crock pot. Which if it's high in fat, that would explain why it is soooooo good!

Whats the lowest calorie, yet still tender, type of roast I can buy to cook in a crock pot or slow cooker? I used to buy "beef chuck tender roast", but I read that its really high in calories...
Thanks in advance!
