I have used the bags but prefer my own seasoning.

I use things such as pre-mixed salt free italian seasoning, old bay seasoning and lemon juice/pepper.

Oh man I use my steamer bags for everything LOL. From Shrimp down to Veggies LOL.

as far as what seasonings .. I am struggling with that myself.. BUT I found Lemon Pepper is a great flavorful seasoning.. and has no calories :-) Always a bonus right? LOL.

I add herbs like dill or chives. You can add diced garlic or onion. Also spices change things up like curry which is good on cauliflower. Also a little lemon juice adds to the zing. If you want something easy Mrs Dash works good

Call me lazy but I think these Zip n Steam bags from Ziploc are pretty much brilliant. Especially for those who are short on time but want cooked veggies.

My question is was seasoning should I use? I guess I'm used to the canned vegetable taste but I don't want to end up dumping tons of salt on the steamed veggies and totally defeat the purpose.

Are there certain spices or seasonings you'd suggest to flavor up veggies for a nonvegetable eater?

Thanks!
